Career Days at Penn State
Penn State Career Services in University Park hosts Fall Career Days and Spring Career Days each year. Hundreds of employers participate to hire students for internships and full-time positions. Penn State students and alumni from all Penn State campuses are welcome to join the event.
2024 Spring Career Days
Why should Penn State Abington students participate?
- Penn State Spring Career Days is one of the largest collegiate career fairs in the nation. Over 200 employers will recruit for internships and full-time jobs at this event, with many opportunities in Greater Philadelphia and around the country. Employers Attending this Spring.
- Every Penn State Abington student will receive a free professional Penn State padfolio.

Your Resume
You are encouraged to have your resume reviewed before January 12th. Follow these resume tips and upload your resume today in Nittany Lion Careers to have it reviewed by a member of our staff.
Your Appearance
- Wear Business Professional attire (This is a MUST. You will not be able to board the bus if you are not dressed professionally.)
- If you do not have business professional attire, dress slacks and a dress shirt/blouse is acceptable, along with clean/professional shoes.
- Our Career Closet in Career & Professional Development may be able to help you with professional attire. You must inquire about the Career Closet before Thursday, January 18th for assistance. Reach out to [email protected].
Your Responsibilities
- You are responsible for communicating with your instructors IN ADVANCE that you will be absent from class. A letter excusing you from classes will be given to you when you board the bus. This is a University-sponsored event and your absence should be excused.
- Your Registration and deposit are a commitment to attend.
- Preparation is key! Use the tips on the Career Days website or check out the Penn State Career Guide. Have your resume reviewed by Penn State Abington Career & Professional Development by uploading it to Nittany Lion Careers.
